Happily married 13 years, mom of one boy/step-mom to one girl, and I have embraced my inner geek-girl. Not pocket-protector geek but sci-fi/fantasy/music/internet fandom geek. Yes, that's right, I'm a geek. I love my shows, my books, my movies, my bands, traveling for geeky purposes, collecting, the whole nine yards. If you don't approve of any of this it's your problem, quite frankly, 'cause I'm way too old to care at this point!

Currently, The X-Files. All time favourites: Gone With The Wind, Titanic, Serenity, Independence Day: ID4, Twister, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Transformers, Iron Man, Roman Holiday, The Quiet Man, When Harry Met Sally..., Notting Hill, Four Weddings And A Funeral, My Best Friend's Wedding, P.S. I Love You, and I really really enjoyed Ten Inch Hero - that might be my new favourite chick flick.
I *LOVE* blockbuster special effects movies 'cause I'm a special effects junkie; I don't need serious plot or acting if there's lots of blowing up and fires and lights and shiny...
Robert Jordan's "Wheel Of Time" series, Terry Goodkind's "Wizard's Rule" series, anything and everything by John Varley, Douglas Adams's "Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy" and "Dirk Gently" series, Susan Howatch's "Church Of England" series, Stephen R. Lawhead's "King Arthur" series, Piers Anthony's "Incarnations of Immortality" series...and books about ghosts and the paranormal!
